1. Scope:
  • The Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School (“School”) operates and maintains the sub-domain https://onlineadmission.nmajs.edu.in, https://edusprint.nmajs.edu.in and related pages of the website https://nmajs.edu.in/ (“Portal”).
  • The Portal is a platform for users to access information, tools and management services of the School, including but not limited to educational content, educational resources, information about management, admissions, academics, events and other such information, as provided on the Portal from time to time (collectively known as “Services”).
  • Your use of the Portal is subject to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and on the basis that you agree to these Terms and the privacy policy of the Portal.
  • By registering or signing up to the Portal, or otherwise having access to, receiving information from, and/or using the Portal, you acknowledge having read and understood, and consent to be governed and bound by these Terms and the privacy policy of the Portal. If you do not understand these Terms or the privacy policy of the Portal, or do not accept any part of them, then you should not use the Portal.
  • The Terms are an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended / re-enacted) and rules thereunder, and is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, which mandates the publishing of rules and regulations, privacy policy and terms of use for access or usage of the Portal. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.>

3. Modifications:
  • Modifications of the Terms: The School reserves the right to change the Terms under which the Services are offered, including but not limited to the charges, if any, associated with the use of the Services. The Terms may also be modified by the School from time to time basis changes in business, legal and regulatory requirements, and will be updated online. The School will make reasonable efforts to communicate any significant changes to these Terms to you; however, your continuous usage of the Portal shall be deemed as acceptance of the then-current Terms. You are encouraged to periodically visit this page to review these Terms and any changes to it. You agree that your continued use of the Services constitutes an acknowledgment that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions so amended.
  • Modification of Services: The School reserves the right to add, modify or delete any content or features available as part of the Services at any time at its sole discretion and with no liability to you.
4. Links to third party sites & applications:
  • The Portal may contain links to other websites / applications ("Linked Sites"). The Linked Sites are not under the control of the School and the School is not responsible for the contents of any Linked Site, including without limitation any link contained in a Linked Site, or any changes or updates to a Linked Site or any information transmitted by a Linked Site or any consequences of usage of information, services, and/or products available through a Linked Site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by the School of the Linked Site or any association with its operator(s).
  • Any dealings with third parties (including advertisers) included within or available via a link from the Portal or participation in promotions, including the delivery of and the payment for goods and services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings or promotions, are solely between you and the advertiser or other third party. In accessing Linked Sites, you agree and acknowledge that you do so solely at your own risk and expense, and that the School shall not be responsible or liable for any such dealings or promotions.
  • You acknowledge and agree that the use of any Linked Site is governed by such third party’s terms of use, license agreement, privacy policy, and / or any other agreement specified in such Linked Site.
  • THE SCHOOL HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION BY OR ANY OTHER PRACTICES OF ANY THIRD PARTY. THE SCHOOL EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY AND ALL LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO YOUR PERSONAL OR OTHER INFORMATION THAT MAY BE COLLECTED, PROCESSED, SHARED OR RETAINED BY ANY THIRD PARTY.
5. Intellectual Property rights:
  • The School shall own all rights, title and interests including all related intellectual property rights, in the Portal (including but not limited to the object code of the Portal and features of the Services) which rights are protected by applicable laws. You acknowledge that such ownership shall include all intellectual property rights arising from any suggestions, enhancement requests, recommendations or other information provided by any user in the course of use of the Portal.
  • In using the Portal and/or the Services, you hereby irrevocably waive any and all rights that may be available to you under applicable law, whether present or future, to claim any ownership or benefit arising out of any intellectual property that may be developed by the School and/or its affiliates as a direct result of your usage of the Portal and/or the Services.
6. Location Services:
  • The School, its licensees and agents, may access, collect and analyse information regarding your usage of the Portal and other information related to your location on a regular basis through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi signals and other technologies and data for the provision of services through the Portal and to help improve the design, functionality, performance, and content of the Portal. In order to collect geo-location information, the location settings must be enabled on your device. Therefore, in some cases, the Portal may request that you enable the location settings.
  • Except in cases where any specific services requested by you require or involve personal identification, the School collects location data anonymously and in a form that does not personally identify you. By using the Portal, you agree and consent to transmission, collection, maintenance, processing and use of your location data and queries to provide and improve such services of the Portal.
7. Cookies:
  • Information collected by cookies and other technologies are treated as non-personal information. However, to the extent that IP addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information under applicable law, the School will treat any information linked to such identifiers as personal information. Similarly, to the extent that non-personal information is combined with personal information, we will treat the combined information as personal information.
8. Other Information collected through the Portal:
  • The School may also collect other information about you through the Portal in ways described on the Portal or otherwise with your consent. You can choose not to provide the School with certain types of information, but doing so may affect your ability to avail and/or use certain services.

    By clicking the “I Accept” button or by using the Portal, you permit the enabling of certain functions of the device to find the location of your device.

    The features of the Portal may allow you to post content such as profile information, comments, and other content and/or information (“User Content”). The ownership of User Content created by you remains with you; however, by sharing User Content through the Portal, you agree to allow others to view and/or share your User Content in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
9. Access, Correction and Deletion of Information:
  • The School strives hard to keep its records pertaining to you updated and accurate. However, you shall be responsible to ensure that the information or data you provide from time to time is and continues to be correct and up-to-date and that you have all the rights and permissions to provide such information or data.
  • Deletion of certain information or withdrawal of consent may lead to cancellation of your access to the Portal or certain features and services thereof. Additionally, we may not be able to process your request to correct, update or delete any information in case (i) the same is not supported by requisite valid documents; (ii) retention of such information is required under applicable law or law enforcement requests or under any judicial proceedings; (iii) it is impractical to implement (e.g. request relates to back-up copies or if a new system is required to process the request or change of technical design) or (iv) such action risks the privacy of other users of the Portal.
