Kick for a cause Project

The Relay for Life event was a powerful and inspiring initiative held to support and raise funds for cancer patients. Organised in collaboration with the ICS Foundation, this year the event brought our school community together in a meaningful effort to honour survivors, remember those we have lost, and stand in solidarity with families affected by cancer.

We were deeply moved to hear from cancer survivors who graciously shared their stories of resilience, hope, and strength. Their words reminded us of the importance of compassion, early detection, and continued support for those undergoing treatment. These conversations added a profound sense of purpose to the event and reinforced why fundraising efforts like this matter.

One of the most impactful moments was the Candle Walk, where students and teachers gathered in silence with lit candles to honour cancer survivors and commemorate the lives of those who battled the disease. The walk symbolised unity, remembrance, and a collective commitment to raising awareness.

A series of relay races and novelty races was organized to raise money through friendly competition and collaborative challenges. These activities allowed students in the secondary division to contribute to the cause in an engaging and inclusive way.

Overall, Relay for Life was not just a fundraising event - it was a celebration of hope, humanity, and collective action. It reflected our community’s dedication to supporting cancer patients, spreading awareness, and standing together for a cause that touches so many lives.
