Inter house events

At our school, we organize several inter-house sporting and non-sporting events. The points earned by the winners, are added to the House points. These events help to develop a team-spirit and a sense of belonging, among the students.

Captivating the Audience

"Expression of language is the doorway to culture."

The DAIS Primary section had its first Marathi Elocution Competition for the students of Class 1 to Class 5. To encourage our students to learn the language and enrich their vocabulary, we presented them with this opportunity. The students were excited to express themselves, build confidence, and highlight their oratory skills, which was clearly evidenced by the overwhelming response and participation.

The competition was divided into 3 age-appropriate categories and the participants were judged on the choice of the poem, expression, clarity, voice projection, and diction. The students won over the audience with their poems and their skills, keeping them engaged up to the end. The audience too was encouraging, applauding the wonderful performances of our young orators.

The event was very ably hosted by our Class 5 Cub captains and Cub Co-ordinators. The final tally of marks per House was close.

  • 1st Place: Panther House with 852 points
  • 2nd Place: Jaguar House and Lion House with 824 points
  • 3rd Place: Tiger House with 818 points
